Introducing 1decision – Safeguarding children since 2011

At 1decision, we pride ourselves on providing high quality resources to support teachers in delivering effective statutory Health and Relationship education and the wider subject of PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education).  Our strong fully Kite-Marked Primary programme is heavily student-focused, meaning that a foundation is put in place for children to explore, feel safe, and healthy in their daily lives. Sensitive topics like appropriate touch, computer safety and bullying are given the gravity they deserve, fostering the kind of inclusive and safe space that children can thrive in. These resources are now being used in 47 counties across the UK and many international schools too.

We realise, however, that this process can begin even earlier and with that in mind, we have recently produced an award-winning early years programme. The early years PSED (Personal, Social and Emotional development) programme support young children to understand topics like hygiene, road safety, feelings and emotions, and so much more. The journey of child development is very much a lifelong process and beginning that process early in a positive manner can play a huge part in shaping the next generation.
