‘Working together to engage and develop people to enhance the life chances of all children’

The Governance Handbook states:

“The chair, with support from the vice chair, is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of the board and has a vital role in setting the highest of expectations for professional standards of governance.”

As experienced Chairs of Governors we strongly believe in providing training that gives you the knowledge, tools and examples to be effective governors. Our aim is to give you the confidence and tools to improve your governance as quickly and effectively as possible.

Who is delivering the training?
